February 26, 2025 | Other Activities

On Wednesday (26/2), the Communication and Information Office (Diskominfo) of Sambas Regency together with the Sambas Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) and BPS-Statistics of Sambas Regency held a Workshop on the Preparation of Data Lists, Data Standards, and Regional Level Reference Codes for SDI in the Bappeda Hall of Sambas Regency.

The workshop was attended by all data processors from each Regional Government Organization (OPD) of Sambas Regency Government. The event was opened by the Assistant for Economic and Development Affairs of the Regional Secretariat of Sambas Regency and the Head of Diskominfo of Sambas Regency, followed by presentations from BPS-Statistics of Sambas Regency.

During the event, the necessity of statistical data standards (SDS) and reference codes for each sectoral statistical data produced by data producers was emphasized. This is in line with the One Data Indonesia (SDI) principle as outlined in Presidential Regulation No. 39 of 2019 regarding One Data Indonesia.

The presence of SDS and reference codes in sectoral statistical data is one of the requirements for comparability between regions. This way, the data produced can serve as a basis for decision-making in the context of regional and national development.

This workshop is expected to provide a deeper understanding to sectoral statistical data producers regarding the fulfillment of SDI principles to boost the quality of sectoral statistical data that can be utilized by all stakeholders and the people of Sambas Regency.
