Abstract

The preparation of regional development planning requires information in the form of data collected in economic sectors. These data or indicators include: economic growth, economic structure, income or GRDP per capita, unemployment rate, distribution of labor based on sector, commodity production data, banking, regional finance and other data. In order to be able to observe the economic potential of Sambas Regency, in addition to looking at the growth or development of the series of data/indicators, especially over the last five years, it is also done by making comparisons with other regencies/cities in West Kalimantan. Sub-sectors or commodities that provide relatively large carrying capacity to the region, for example Sambas Regency to West Kalimantan or Sub-districts to Sambas Regency tend to have comparative advantages.
