Award Presentation to Sejiram Village as the Best Desa Cantik of 2024 in West Kalimantan

April 25, 2025 | Other Activities

On Friday, April 25, 2025, the Sambas Regency Statistics Office (BPS) presented an Award Certificate to Sejiram Village, Tebas District, as the Best Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) in West Kalimantan for 2024. The series of Desa Cantik Program activities in Sejiram Village throughout 2024 have been successfully completed. Desa Cantik is one of the programs implemented by BPS Sambas Regency to enhance statistical literacy and understanding at the village level, enabling village governments to optimally utilize data for better planning and decision-making.

This program has provided valuable lessons for improving the quality of statistical data management in villages, ranging from updating population data, infrastructure, and educational and health facilities. The series of training sessions were conducted between September and October 2024, with four training sessions held. The Desa Cantik program was executed smoothly and successfully thanks to the support of the village authorities and relevant stakeholders. The designated statistical agents also played a crucial role in ensuring the success of the training activities. This was demonstrated by the realization of each planned output.

This achievement is the result of hard work and collaboration between BPS Sambas Regency, the Sambas Regency Government, and the Sejiram Village Government in creating a village capable of effectively utilizing and managing data.
